# Financial estimates from Visible Alpha

Easel can retrieve Visible Alpha consensus estimates and revision history when the connected firm has the relevant entitlement. Slack, Teams, email using a linked Portrait account, and CLI require full Easel access on the connected Portrait account. CLI retrieval also requires the account-enabled Easel CLI bridge.

## What your data tier includes

Visible Alpha access is contractual, and the depth of data depends on your firm's agreement with Visible Alpha. There are two tiers:

| Coverage | Seven standardized KPIs — revenue, gross profit, EBIT, EBITDA, EPS, capex, and free cash flow | Company-specific and segment-level metrics included in the firm's Company Data entitlement |
| Per retrieval call | Up to three of those KPIs; Easel can retrieve further batches for the same question | Full company-data views |
| History and forward range | Five years back to two years forward | Ten years back to three years forward |

These scopes depend on the firm's entitlement. If a requested metric is unavailable, narrow the request to an entitled metric or verify the expected entitlement with the Portrait team. Visible Alpha data cannot be written to a generated Excel workbook.
