Quickly Identify the Story Behind the Stock Chart

The Case Study tab provides a comprehensive quarterly analysis for any company, including news summaries, earnings recaps, and qualitative insights into results and guidance. We also include a Company Primer, detailing how a business makes money. The tool is useful for rapid context-building, helping investors quickly get up-to-speed and to develop a research plan to dive deeper.

Getting Started

To view a case study or primer, first select a company. To view longer histories on a given stock, simply adjust the time period filters at the top of the screen.

Quarter by Quarter, Portrait generates a News Summary, Earnings Recap, and identifies Key Debates driving a stock

  • Key Debates
  • Portrait uses conference call transcripts and the news to identify the key tension points that investors are focused on.
  • The system identifies a tension point, and renders an unbiased Bull and Bear take for each respective debate.
    • Key Debates evolve over time - this helps tell the story of the most topical items driving business operations and stock trends.

  • Portrait reads the news and distills key events into a focused, quarter-by-quarter summary
