Quickly Identify the Story Behind the Stock Chart
Open Companies in the left navigation and pick a name to reach its company page. The case study there is a comprehensive quarterly analysis — news summaries, earnings recaps, and qualitative insight into results and guidance — alongside a Company Primer detailing how the business makes money and a Supply Chain view of its suppliers, customers, and competitors. It is built for rapid context-building: get up to speed on a name quickly, then develop a research plan to dive deeper.

Getting Started
Select a company from Companies, then use Viewing Quarter and the time-period filters at the top of the screen to move through its history.
Quarter by Quarter, Portrait generates a News Summary, Earnings Recap, and identifies Key Debates driving a stock
- Key Debates
- Portrait uses conference call transcripts and the news to identify the key tension points that investors are focused on.
- The system identifies a tension point, and renders an unbiased Bull and Bear take for each respective debate.
- Key Debates evolve over time - this helps tell the story of the most topical items driving business operations and stock trends.
