How it works

- Select Portrait documents or upload your own documents relevant to your thesis
- Enter your query and improve prompt, or choose a Portrait Prompt
Step 1: Select one or more Companies
Portrait will search across source materials tagged with the companies selected. There's two ways to do this:
- Manual: Search and add tickers
- Help me Choose: Type in the type of business you're looking to track, and Portrait will generate an editable list of potential companies to include.
Step 2: Select source materials
Select source materials in Portrait and any documents you've uploaded to your Project to ground your analysis in verifiable information. Portrait draws from these sources to ensure every output is accurate, contextual, and fully auditable.
Step 3: Enter query or select a Portrait prompt
Enter your own research query or choose from Portrait's curated prompt library. You can enhance your prompt by hitting "CTRL+I" on your keyboard to ensure you get a well-structured, comprehensive output.
