Financial Estimates (Visible Alpha)

Easel retrieves Visible Alpha consensus estimates so it can compare reported results against expectations, track how the Street's view has moved, and ground a valuation discussion in real numbers. It can pull both the current consensus and the revision history behind it.

What your data tier includes

Visible Alpha access is contractual, and the depth of data depends on your firm's agreement with Visible Alpha. There are two tiers:

Standard Data Company Data
Coverage Seven standardized KPIs — revenue, gross profit, EBIT, EBITDA, EPS, capex, and free cash flow Every line item Visible Alpha tracks, including company-specific and segment-level metrics
Per-request detail Up to three of those KPIs at a time Full company-data views
History and forward range Five years back to two years forward Ten years back to three years forward

These scopes reflect the data your firm is licensed for — they are not arbitrary app limits, and Easel works within them automatically. If a request needs data your tier does not cover, Easel falls back to the data it can access rather than returning estimates you are not entitled to.

If you are unsure which tier your firm holds, contact the team.
