The Monitor's web view can export an individual update, a summary, or a collection of updates as PDF. Export uses the existing results; it does not rerun the Monitor or find additional evidence. You need access to an active Monitor, and the source's display and redistribution rights still apply.
Export one update or summary
- Open the Monitor in the web app and select the result.
- Use Export update to PDF or Export summary to PDF beside that result.
- Wait for the export to finish and open the downloaded PDF.
Export updates since a date
- Open Monitor actions → Export updates to PDF….
- Set Include updates since. The initial date is seven days ago; you can choose another date up to today.
- Select Export and open the resulting PDF.
This collection includes updates created on or after the chosen day, interpreted from 00:00 UTC, through the available latest update. It includes updates rather than summary entries. The Monitor reader's company, source, topic, or unread filters do not narrow this export; only the Monitor and chosen start date define its requested scope.
Verify scope and limits
- Check the Monitor name, date range, entries, and source attribution in the PDF. A displayed source link does not grant the recipient access to a restricted document.
- A collection is limited to the 2,000 most recent updates within the requested range. When that limit prevents reaching the selected start date, the PDF's range begins with the oldest included update instead. Do not treat that PDF as a complete history back to the requested date.
- Exporting an individual result searches the Monitor's 2,000 most recent content entries, including updates and summaries. An older result can remain outside that export search even if you can locate it elsewhere in the product.
- A Monitor launch brief and a 90-day summary have different meanings. Check the content's purpose rather than inferring it only from a PDF labelled “Summary”.
If export fails or omits material
Confirm that the Monitor is still active and accessible and that it has updates in the chosen period. A date range with no updates cannot produce a collection PDF; a summary alone does not satisfy that request. Reload the Monitor and retry from the original result after any transient export error.
If the requested history exceeds the limit, or an older individual result cannot be exported, contact support with the Monitor URL, result date, and requested range. Changing the start date to an earlier day does not increase the limit. Export needed results before removing the Monitor.
